VP of Internet Marketing Will Lead Marketing and Internet Marketing Teams

AVI-SPL today announced its Marketing Communications and Internet Marketing departments have joined forces under the leadership of industry veteran and AVI-SPL Vice President of Internet Marketing Kelly Bousman.

Bousman has been with AVI-SPL for nearly 14 years, starting the creative services area, then creating www.ProjectorPeople.com and developing the company’s Internet strategy. From brand development to marketing program management, Bousman has been an integral part of AVI-SPL’s growth.

Now as one collaborative team, the in-house marketing staff manages the company’s public relations, graphic design, tradeshows and copy writing, in addition to developing and managing www.avispl.com, www.ProjectorPeople.com, and customer extranet sites. The group also handles the company’s social media communications, email marketing, webinars and online advertising.

The decision to unify the two departments was made after the company’s VP of Marketing Communications Michelle Oswald resigned to pursue a career outside the industry.

I’m very excited to see the collaborative efforts this now-unified team will produce in the near future. Kelly’s extensive knowledge of the industry combined with her marketing forte will provide this team with very strong leadership.�
