Atlona Introduces New AT-3GSDI-HD2 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI to HDMI With Stereo Audio Converter at the 2011 NAB Show

Full-Featured Device Combines Support for All Audio Formats up to 8-Channel With Industry’s Fastest Response Time at an Affordable Price Point

2011 NAB Show, LAS VEGAS — April 11, 2011 — Atlona Technologies(R) today unveiled its new AT-3GSDI-HD2 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI to HDMI with stereo audio converter, which will be shown for the first time at the 2011 NAB Show. Guaranteeing no signal loss, the AT-3GSDI-HD2 fully supports — and auto detects — all 3G/HD/SD-SDI audio formats up to 8-channel and is able to send audio though the HDMI port as well as through a separate stereo audio output when a DVI display is being used.

Ideal for the broadcast industry, the AT-3GSDI-HD2 is the perfect solution for monitoring and pre- and post-production where SDI camera or computer SDI output needs to be converted to work with HDMI or DVI displays. With a 0.1-millisecond delay, the unit is faster than any other SDI-type monitor on the market.

“We are very excited to introduce our AT-3GSDI-HD2 to the broadcast market. With its ability to support all SDI formats, incredibly fast response time, and stereo audio output, no other solution in the industry can match the features of this converter at such an attractive price point,” said Ilya Khayn, president of Atlona Technologies. “Competing devices with fewer features are far more expensive, which is why we designed the AT-3GSDI-HD2 to allow broadcasters to lower costs, while ensuring the reliability of their systems.”

Providing full EDID integration, the AT-3GSDI-HD2 features a re-clocked SDI loop-out to allow daisy chaining or connection to a local SDI display. The unit offers a locking HDMI port for broadcast applications and a locking 5-V power supply, with an optional USB power supply available.

The AT-3GSDI-HD2 is available now at an MSRP of $349.
