Cabletime Names GS Electronics a Platinum Status Partner

NJ. USA, May 9, 2011. Cabletime, developer of the MediaStar range of IPTV distribution solutions, has announced that integrator, GS Electronics has been named a ‘Cabletime Platinum Status Partner’ – an award that reflects the success of the relationship between the two companies, which has been built over the past 13 years.

GS Electronics, which formerly operated as OHSTG Inc. was Cabletime’s first signed integrator when it opened its operation in the USA in 1998. Since then, the company has consistently specified and implemented successful solutions for customers based on Cabletime’s MediaStar range.

David Lemont Shepherd, President, Cabletime USA, said: “Originally, we worked with the team on installations around MediaStar Compact, but as our relationship grew, GS started to specify MediaStar Pro, and in recent years has really focused on our Evolution solution. The company is not only loyal, but it has an in-depth understanding of the technology behind MediaStar, and how this can be built on and maximized for customers. The Platinum Status is simply recognition of how much we value the work that GS does with us, and the assistance they have given in helping us build the Cabletime brand in the USA.?

GS Electronic’s client base focuses primarily on financial organisations, and it has managed MediaStar installations for Credit Suisse and Reuters amongst others. In addition, it works with schools, publishers and legal companies. The vast majority of its customers are based in the New York area.

David Harris, Partner, at GS Electronics, said: “Cabletime’s top of the range products are appropriate to all the categories that we sell in, and the company has consistently updated and improved its solutions. This enables us to deliver state-of-the-art, scaleable, and highly reliable technology to our customers, and in addition, Cabletime listens to our suggestions and incorporates our requirements. In terms of customer support the company is very strong, which is one of the key reasons why we work so well together. We are delighted to have been named a ‘Platinum Status Partner’.?
