Christie and Flexible Picture Systems Announce the Flexible Partner Program for Warp and Blend
Christie® and Flexible Picture Systems (FPS) are pleased to announce the Flexible Partner Program. The program offers Christie dealers the opportunity to combine the geometry correction and edge blending of the Image AnyPlace-200 stand-alone scaler product with Christie’s 1-chip DLP® and LCD projectors. With the Flexible Partner program, Christie dealers receive preferred pricing on Image AnyPlace-200, priority customer service and extended hours of technical support.
“We are really excited to be able to provide our high performance geometry correction and edge blending to Christie’s customers, said Mr. Steve Wood, President and CEO of Flexible Picture Systems.
“The Image AnyPlace-200 product is an excellent complement for our 1-chip DLP® and LCD projectors, said Frank Anzures, product manager, Christie Business Products. “With Image AnyPlace, we can now add precision Warp and Blend features to any projector in these product lines.
Image AnyPlace-200 is a 1U rack mount box with multiple video inputs and outputs. Its unique geometry correction features enable the precise fitting of projected images to flat, curved, spherical and irregular screens, providing excellent accuracy (0.25 pixels) in projector stacking and passive 3D applications. Image AnyPlace’s edge blending capabilities provide bit mapped or rectangular blend zones before or after geometry correction.
The Image AnyPlace-200 provides flexibility in designing multi-projector installations for house of worship, government, and higher education markets. Christie customers in these markets can now take advantage of the growing trend for creating seamless display environments on curved screens and unconventional projection surfaces.
