JVC LAUNCHES COST-EFFECTIVE GY-HM710U PROHD CAMCORDER AT INFOCOMM 2011

WAYNE, NJ – JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., today unveiled the new GY-HM710U ProHD camcorder – a cost effective choice for event coverage, documentaries, ENG news, and educational applications – at InfoComm 2011 (Booth 1062), which runs through June 17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The compact, shoulder-mount camcorder has a similar body style and many of the same features of the GY-HM750U that was introduced earlier this year, but does not include the option to attach external modules for additional functionality.

Panavid Upgrades Audio System at Calvary Baptist Church In New York City With HARMAN JBL Loudspeaker System

Panavid installed a new audio system featuring JBL loudspeakers at the Calvary Baptist Church in New York.

ORLANDO, Florida – Calvary Baptist Church was founded in New York City in 1847 as an independent Baptist church, and has been in its current location on Manhattan’s West 57th Street since 1931. Over the years, the church has undergone a series of renovations, and most recently completed a major upgrade to its audio system with the installation of HARMAN’s JBL VRX Series Constant Curvature, AE Series Compact and CBT loudspeakers.

The new sound reinforcement system at Trinity College, Cambridge’s chapel features 127 JBL Control 52 ultra-compact satellite loudspeakers.

ORLANDO, Florida – RG Jones Sound Engineering has equipped the historic chapel at Cambridge’s Trinity College with its first sound reinforcement system, using 127 HARMAN’s JBL Control 52 ultra-compact satellite loudspeakers, accessed via a sophisticated BSS Soundweb DSP design to optimize the sound broadcast from seven fixed microphone positions at the lecterns. The equipment was supplied by Sound Technology Ltd, Harman Pro’s UK and ROI distributors.
