Statement of financial position 2010: Sennheiser achieves record turnover

Wedemark, Germany — June 23, 2011 – Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG published its financial statement for the business year 2010, reporting an increased turnover of 468.2 million Euros, compared to 389.9 million Euros last year. This corresponds to an increase of 20.1 percent and is the largest turnover in the company’s history. Profit increased from 3.8 million Euros (in 2009) to 22.6 million Euros.

“All product groups and all markets have contributed to this positive result,” said Volker Bartels, Spokesperson of Sennheiser’s Executive Management Board. “One of the important factors that contributed to this result was the revival of the professional side of our business and the highly positive growth at the end of the year, particularly in the consumer segment. ETZGEN, SWITZERLAND: Driving 30 minutes from Zurich, past rolling hills and ancient forests, a recording artist might not expect to find a world class recording and mixing facility. Electrosonic Designs and Installs New Audio and Video Systems for Renovated Berth 93 at the Port of Los Angeles World Cruise Center

As part of a multi-million dollar renovation of the World Cruise Center at the Port of Los Angeles, Electrosonic has designed a new audio, video and show control system, crafted digital signage, created a kids-friendly videowall and installed a zoned sound and paging system.

The Port of Los Angeles is one of the busiest cruise ports on the West Coast, with Disney Cruise Line and other major cruise lines calling at the World Cruise Center. Electrosonic was tasked with the design of an audio, video and show control system that would meet the needs of the Port of Los Angeles and the cruise lines operating out of Berth 93. Once the design was approved by all parties, Electrosonic engineered, manufactured, installed and programmed the new system.

AVIOM TUNES IN FOR VIPER STUDIOS’ PARK AVENUE ARMORY PRODUCTIONS

NEW YORK, JUNE 23, 2011—When Viper Studios, a NY-based event production company, is called upon by Manhattan’s Park Avenue Armory arts center to produce live events, the company always relies on Aviom’s Pro64® Digital Snake to distribute audio throughout the venue. Used recently in the event space for five days of musical performances during the Armory’s own Tune-In Music Festival, the Pro64 digital snake was used to feed audio signals to 12 stage monitor speakers, two separate line array speaker systems and 48 channels of stage input during this event. more
