Panamax/Furman Introduces Innovative New IPRO Sales Program

Company to Pay up to $500 Toward IPRO Dues or Conference Fees for Any Rep Firm Who Hits Sales Target

PETALUMA, Calif. — July 7, 2011 — Panamax/Furman today introduced an innovative new program designed to motivate the company’s sales representatives to reach their goals, while also contributing to their continued education in the consumer electronics market through participation in the Independent Professional Representatives Organization (IPRO). Under the new program, Panamax/Furman will pay up to $500 towards IPRO dues or annual conference fees for any sales representative firm who achieves their sales target.

“Panamax/Furman is setting a wonderful example for the industry with this new sales program. Not only does it encourage their reps to perform, but it shows how important the company holds the continued education of their sales force in this rapidly changing market,” said Raymond Wright, executive director at IPRO. “This is a very innovative and progressive program that demonstrates true industry leadership. We hope that other manufacturers will follow Panamax/Furman’s lead with similar initiatives of their own.”

IPRO is a nonprofit organization consisting of professional reps and their companies nationwide that provide direct sales and marketing services to the consumer electronics industry. Established in 1988, IPRO provides its members with access to the best sales, marketing, and management tools through conferences, networking, research, and educational opportunities. With an emphasis on educational courses geared toward the changing market and networking dynamics, the IPRO annual conference is the only industry event focused upon the needs of the manufacturer’s representative.
