100M HDMI Extender with PoE, IR, RS-232, Ethernet and 3D Support
Brea, Calif., Aug 22, 2011 – KanexPro (Booth #309) the leading A/V Connectivity solutions provider is proud to introduce its groundbreaking HDMI® Extender, based on HDBaseT® technology called the “The Long –Runner 5PL� which includes all the five main elements of a typical A/V install: Audio, Video, Power, Control, and the Distance needed for versatility and swift installation. Guaranteed to work with any number of HDMI sources and displays.
Route high-resolution HDMI signals with full HD 1080p from the source up to 330 feet (100m) to your HD display. In addition, it supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) eliminating excess or unwanted power drain and also provides power to the receiver at the remote location, giving the ultimate freedom to the flat-panel or projector from being tethered to the AC outlet.
It provisions full 3D (all formats) and resolutions up to 4Kx2K (4 times the 1080p) with multichannel audio, IR and RS-232 extension over a single low cost CAT6 cable. Fully compliant with HDCP, EDID and CEC controls.
In addition, it extends Ethernet to connected TVs for online access remotely from the transmitter set when connected to a LAN network. Also provides IR back channel to control A/V sources using the same CAT6 cable extension. With the built-in IR blaster, simply point the IR remote(s) at the display to control the Hi-Def. sources as if they were located in the same room as the display. Ideal for use with home-theater, digital signage, hospitality and medical imaging applications where long-distance HDMI connectivity is critical.
