Ohio State University’s Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom features a semi-portable JBL VERTEC line array system.
NORTHRIDGE, California – Designed by Dallas, Texas-based consultants, Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams (WHJW) to fit the physically and acoustically demanding environment of Ohio State University’s Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom, a HARMAN JBL VERTEC® line array system has been specified to serve events ranging from concerts, presentations, commencements, as well as outside events, including corporate meetings and weddings. The VERTEC line arrays were judged to be an ideal solution for the space, meeting detailed specifications for a semi-portable and self-powered solution.
Installed by Zenith Systems of Bedford Heights, Ohio, the VERTEC system was seamlessly integrated into the venue, according to Zenith’s Joe Ockuly. “We’ve used JBL in previous large installations and have had very positive results,� Ockuly noted. “The more
