Indianapolis, IN––The ARTist Series Multimedia loudspeakers combine compact dimensions and superior sound quality along with a number of connectivity options that expand their usefulness in desktop studio, home and computer applications.
In fact, the ARTist Series 3 and ARTist Series 5 speakers feature no less than four different input sockets: RCA for home audio components; and XLR connector for recording equipment, a 3.5 mm mini stereo jack for MP3 players and smart phones; and a USB port that allows users to send source material directly to the speakers, bypassing the computer A/D converters.
The ARTist Series 3, 5 and 6 (Tower), Center and Sub offer the clear, transparent musical reproduction ADAM Audio monitors have become known for in leading studios and production facilities around the world.
Featuring the same X-ART tweeter in its professional models, ARTist Series speakers are also equipped with a sophisticated woofer, electronic crossover and built-in amplifiers for each driver that brings studio-quality performance to an office, desktop studio or home environment.
The smaller ARTist 3 and 5 models include ADAM Audio’s stereo link that allows for direct connection of the two speakers so that a single volume control operates both speakers, a practical solution for maintaining the balance between the two speakers.
Both have dedicated low frequency drivers with a diaphragm made from carbon fiber, a material that is very light but very stiff, that delivers color-free sound. Two built-in 25-Watt amplifiers power each of the drivers directly.
