ADVANCED SYSTEMS GROUP OFFERS FREE VIDEO ARCHIVING SEMINAR
EMERYVILLE, CALIF. – Advanced Systems Group (ASG), a leading West Coast video and film integration firm, will offer a free seminar on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, from noon to 1 p.m. at Delancey Street Restaurant in San Francisco. Presented by Shawn Klein, a senior director at Quantum Corp., “Archiving with Quantum StorNext and Advanced Systems Group will showcase how Quantum can help manage costs while archiving data. Lunch will be provided, and registered attendees will be eligible to win a $100 American Express Gift Card.
“Productivity relies on effective management of today’s file-based workflows, said Dave Van Hoy, president of ASG. “But audio and video files keep getting bigger, which means you need to increase storage capacity – and make sure your network is robust enough to handle the transfer of these larger data files – without breaking the bank.
The informal discussion will include an overview of the Quantum StorNext M330 metadata controller appliance, which delivers high-speed shared access to very large files over multiple platforms, and the Quantum StorNext Archive Enabled Library appliance, a data migration engine for long-term archiving of near-line content.
Space is limited for the archiving seminar. Register at http://archivingwithstornext.eventbrite.com, or call (510) 654-8300 or e-mail rsvp@asgllc.com for more information.
