L-ACOUSTICS and SENNHEISER CANADA Announce Distribution Change

MARCOUSSIS, France — L-ACOUSTICS and SENNHEISER CANADA Inc. announce their joint decision to end their collaboration. SENNHEISER CANADA Inc. will cease to be the Exclusive Distributor of the L-ACOUSTICS brand in Canada, effective January 1st, 2012.

Starting January 2012, all sales support will be provided direct from L-ACOUSTICS. A communiqué to this effect will be issued to all Canadian customers and users within the next few days. As for the future representation of the brand, L-ACOUSTICS will establish a Certified Provider Network for Canada. This scheme has already been implemented successfully in other European markets and in the US. more

Farber Sound Brings State-of-the-Art Sound To Historic Paramount Theatre With HARMAN’s JBL VRX Constant Curvature Arrays and Soundcraft Si3 Console

Farber Sound upgraded the sound reinforcement system at the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud, Minnesota with JBL VRX Constant Curvature loudspeakers and a Soundcraft Si3 digital console.

ST. CLOUD, Minnesota – Located in the historic downtown district of St. Cloud, Minnesota, the Paramount Theatre is a city-owned cornerstone of the community, serving as a stage for rent by community groups and for professional performances by touring musicians and theatrical groups. When the time came for a new audio system, the Paramount Theatre called on Minneapolis-based Farber Sound, which designed and installed a house PA system containing HARMAN’s JBL VRX Constant Curvature arrays, with a Soundcraft Si3 digital console at the front-of-house position.

Scharff Weisberg and Video Applications, announced that they will now be conducting business under the WorldStage name. The two companies, which were joined in a merger that took place in 2007, have long histories in the AV, staging and lighting business and have been operating jointly since the merger.
