Audio-Technica Products Used for 2011 Sundance Institute Filmmakers Lab

STOW, OH, October 6, 2011 — A variety of microphones and wireless systems from Audio-Technica, a world leader in transducer technology, were used at the 2011 Sundance Institute Filmmakers Lab, held at Robert Redford’s residence in Sundance, Utah. The month-long series of workshops included the three-week Directors Lab, followed by a weeklong Screenwriters Lab.

Audio-Technica microphones were used on the event’s sound stages for several weeks. MELVILLE, NY, October 5, 2011 — VOX Amplification is now shipping the AC15C2 “Twin? combo amp from its popular AC Custom Series of tube amplifiers. This enhanced version of the AC15C1 adds a second speaker, providing two 12? Celestion Greenbacks. The AC15C2 “Twin? also features the larger spring reverb tank found in the AC30C2.

The AC15C2 “Twin? offers both Normal and Top Boost channels, tremolo, spring reverb, an effects loop, and footswitching capabilities. The tube amp design uses three 12AX7 dual triode vacuum tubes in the pre-amp section, and two EL84 pentode tubes in the power stage.

Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume more

Two Medialon MIP HD media player units along with a Medialon Manager show control license are currently running on “The Black Arch?, a collaboration work made by the Artist Shadia Alem and writer Raja Alem to represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its debut participation in the 54th International Art Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia running in Italy from June 04th to November 27th, 2011.

Damien Lebrun and Nathalie Grassi from CYWEB, a France-based company specialized in multimedia tools and content development, were in charge of the design, the production, and the installation of the audio/images/lighting system, as well as the programming of the Medialon show control system.

Today at the E4 AV Tour at Chicago’s Congress Plaza hotel Jonathan Brawn of Brawn Consulting answered that question. In the process he pushed integrators, consultants, resellers, and end users to expand their thinking about the role of AV—and the applicable budgets that can be drawn on to fund it.
