The Year of the Dragon came early to the Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens which feature a colorful display replete with animatronic dragons to welcome the Chinese New Year. Look Solutions’ TINY FX fogger enhances the magical atmosphere, which captivates Las Vegas visitors of all ages.

Over 22,000 flowers were used to create this year’s display, which includes a towering red pagoda, a pair of 25-foot blue animatronic dragons coiled around a cylinder of water as they pursue a huge red pearl suspended above them, and four additional 15-foot animatronic dragons surrounded by bridges, red silk Chinese lanterns, a gazebo and a pile of I-Ching coins. The practice of Feng Shui was employed to position the flow of water in the display.

“Everything in the display is larger than life; they’re all big props,” says Tina Rath of 4Wall Entertainment, a bicoastal full-service lighting company specializing in entertainment lighting systems. “This year some of the props look like burning incense, which we have created by using Look Solutions’ TINY fogger. The fogger’s size made it the perfect choice for incense effects in the tableau.”
