SEATAC, WA, March 21, 2012 — Professional video and audio systems integration firm ABS (Advanced Broadcast Solutions) is a Partner Sponsor for NFFTY 2012, one of the largest youth film festivals in the world, which will be held April 26-29 in Seattle. Presented by NFFTY and The Next Fifty, a six-month celebration of the 1962 World’s Fair, the free expo will host a number of panels, workshops, demonstrations, and networking opportunities. It is expected to attract local film production crew, film industry executives, youth filmmakers, and film fans. Beyond ABS, other exhibitors include film commissions, film schools, and equipment companies including AJA Video, Canon, ikan, and Panasonic.

Short for the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, NFFTY is now in its sixth year and received nearly 700 entries for this year’s festival. According to officials, films were submitted by filmmakers 22 years old and under from 40 states and 22 countries. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.

“NFFTY has done an amazing job growing this film festival and celebrating young filmmakers, and we are proud to be a part of it,” said Mark Siegel, President of ABS. “The Future of Film Expo, in particular, promises to be an important destination for the Northwest filmmakers and video production professionals of all ages.”
