A virtual press conference from Sound & Video Contractor

AVI-SPL to Showcase Telehealth Solutions at ATA Expo

AVI-SPL, the leading provider of video communications solutions, is set to exhibit at the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Annual Meeting and Exposition, an event billed as the world’s largest telehealth tradeshow. AVI-SPL will showcase exciting advancements in video communication technology designed specifically for the healthcare industry from April 29 to May 1 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center at booth #342.

The focus of the AVI-SPL booth will be a highly interactive display demonstrating how healthcare professionals can leverage video communication technology to overcome industry challenges such as high hospital readmission rates. For example, one innovative AVI-SPL solution enables patients to communicate with a nurse practitioner via videoconferencing simply by using a kiosk. This allows healthcare providers to deliver patient-focused care without incurring costly Medicare penalties for hospital readmissions. The booth will feature three workstations and a kiosk that will simulate the patient experience for attendees.

“We understand the unique and changing needs of healthcare service providers,” said Eric Headlee, VP of Healthcare Sales, AVI-SPL. “AVI-SPL offers innovative video communication solutions designed specifically to improve access to quality care and produce favorable outcomes for both healthcare professionals and their patients.”
