Brea, CA – April 2012… Altinex, a leading manufacturer of Signal Management Solutions®, is pleased to announce the availability of several Cable-Nook Jr. and Cable-Nook tabletop interconnect packages. The new interconnect packages are designed for installation into a conference room or boardroom table and provide a convenient means of connecting audio, video, and other multimedia sources into a presentation system. The newest Altinex Cable-Nook Jr. offerings include the CNK261, CNK271, and CNK361 packages as well as the larger CNK260 Cable-Nook interconnect box.

Each Cable-Nook Jr. or Cable-Nook interconnect package installs into a table’s surface and includes a dual AC power plate and a set of retaining grommets (2-holes in Cable-Nook Jr. models, 6-holes in standard Cable-Nook CNK260) Of particular note, the retaining grommet sets contain the plates, nylon bushings, and cover caps (in the event not all cable holes are occupied) that make it a snap to securely position the various cables of the AV presentation system. Additionally, the CN5021RG three-hole grommet set is available for the standard Cable-Nook to allow dual AC power outlets for the International market.

Available in black brushed aluminum and clear brushed aluminum, the Altinex Cable-Nook Jr. and Cable-Nook packages allow fast assembly and easy installation. Once installed, cables feeding the video and audio equipment can be accessed quickly and returned to the Cable-Nook /Cable-Nook Jr. for safe storage after use.

The CNK261 interconnect package includes a rectangular bezel (visible on the table’s surface) while the CNK271 provides a circular bezel. The CNK361 includes a rectangular bezel and incorporates convenient two-button switcher control when used in conjunction with the Altinex UT Series of Under Table Switchers. The Cable-Nook CNK260 employs a rectangular bezel and is larger than its Cable-Nook Jr. siblings—thus facilitating greater cable retaining capacity for use with larger AV systems.
