Tecom Launches the Worlds’ First Turn-Key AV Wooden Lectern

Expands its’ product line to include wooden lecterns integrated with the latest classroom technology

Rosh HaAyin, Israel, and Las Vegas – 31 May 2012 – Tecom, inventor of the industry-leading TecPodium Interactive Lecterns, announces the launch of its newest lectern, the TecPodium W – a turn-key audio-visual for classrooms and lecture halls in wood. It has every multimedia capability built-in, and is managed through one simple control panel. Tecom will be demonstrating the technology from June 13-15 at InfoComm 2012 in Las Vegas, Booth C6223.

“We’ve been offering our TecPodium Lecterns for quite some time with great success stories worldwide,” says Aviv Brosilovski, Tecom CEO. “Many of our customers and dealers wanted to have our great AV design and simple control panel interface in a wooden podium that would fit their environment. As always, we’ve listened and the outcome looks great!”

Designed for intuitive use, the TecPodium W is an all-in-one lectern with all devices, such as computers, LCD projectors, and DVD players, managed via a single control panel. The newly designed internal structure includes a 19” rack space, and is built to support any additional equipment that may be required in the room – stable and standard, suited for installations worldwide. All the AV equipment, including the control system and control panel, is pre-wired and configured within the lectern assuring quick installs. The new wood finish and chic design provide extra space for the presenter and the 4 casters allow repositioning within the classroom.

“Tecom can now fulfilled everyone wishes – from simple lecterns to HD, from aluminum to wood – we can accommodate almost any requirement and budget. The audio-visual market for classrooms and lecture halls continues to grow, and since we’re offering TecPodium W at a very competitive price and as an “out-of-the-box” solution, we are very optimistic. The best recommendation is a customer recommendation, and we have hundreds of them, commending the ease-of-use, reliability and convenience of our integrated lecterns” Brosilovski added.

Tecom will be displaying the TecPodium W and its latest technology at InfoComm 2012 on June 13-15 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tecom will be at booth C6223.
