Former Worldwide Marketing Communications Director at Panavision Joins Bexel Team

BURBANK, CA, JULY 25, 2012—Bexel, a unit of the Vitec Group’s Services Division and a leading worldwide provider of broadcast services and solutions, is pleased to announce Suzanne Lezotte as the company’s new marketing director. In her new position, Lezotte will take the lead in creating and deploying cohesive marketing strategies while identifying new avenues for company recognition and exposure. She will report to Matt Danilowicz, managing director of Bexel.

“Suzanne joins Bexel with the industry experience, knowledge and reputation that we look for in our employees,” says Danilowicz. “She will leverage her impressive background to identify our complex business needs and help develop cutting-edge solutions. She will be a driving force in maintaining Bexel’s position as a leader in the broadcast industry and a welcomed addition to the team.”

Prior to joining Bexel, Lezotte served as worldwide marketing communications director for Panavision, where she was responsible for all communications both internally and externally, including maintaining relationships with magazines and online publications. While at Panavision, Lezotte oversaw the branding of the company’s new Nova lenses. In addition, she coordinated well-received events for production facilities including Panavision Atlanta, Panavision Hollywood and Panavision Woodland Hills. She was also charged with managing the company’s annual corporate marketing budget and promoting greater visibility for Panavision with the community.

Before her work at Panavision, Lezotte served as communications manager of ARRI as well as editorial director at Creative Planet and editor of ICG Magazine.

After her eldest son was born with Down syndrome, Lezotte served as the Southern California committee chair for the Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation. In her tenure with the organization, she has been successful in creating greater awareness within various organizations and has helped to raise more than $100,000 in research funds. She was also the spokesperson for a nationwide PSA produced by Women in Film that is currently airing.

Lezotte is a graduate of Western Michigan University. She, her husband and their three children reside in Southern California.
