Shinn is based out of company’s New Jersey office

Fort Lee, N.J. - FOR-A Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, has named Jay Shinn as its Sales Manager for the Northeast region, effective August 1. Shinn has extensive experience in the broadcast technology industry, having spent thirty years at Grass Valley in various roles, including the positions of General Manager of Production Switchers and Senior Sales Consultant.

Shinn brings a proven record of industry success to FOR-A. During his career at Grass Valley, he excelled at effective project consulting and product line management, which led to key contract awards. Shinn consistently achieved sales growth with major broadcast television networks in the New York metropolitan area that exceeded multi-million dollar targets by thirty to forty percent.

Shinn is now the main point of contact for sales activity in the Northeastern U.S., including states from Maine to Virginia. His primary role is to work with systems integrators and equipment dealers to improve and increase sales in the area.
