A virtual press conference from Sound & Video Contractor

AVocation Systems HX-0808HAC/16 8×8 HDMI Matrix, 16×16 Audio Switcher

The Mountain Series units give installers an enormous amount of flexibility when dealing with audio and HDMI in a demanding AV distribution environment.

Indianapolis, IN – CEDIA Expo 2012 – September 5-8 – Booth 5734 – AVocation Systems, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of professional grade audio/video distribution products, announces the Mountain Series HX-0808HAC/16, an 8×8 HDMI matrix with an integrated 16×16 analog and digital audio matrix built in to a durable, 3RU housing. With advanced audio controls, additional optical inputs, and full audio conversion capabilities, the new switcher is designed to resolve common HDMI routing and switching issues confronted by installers.

AVocation Systems designed the HX-0808HAC/16 to eliminate many of the limitations installers face when distributing HDMI and other formats across a large number of zones. EDID/key management allows fast, reliable switching while audio conversion of analog, digital coax, digital optical and HDMI provides a wide array of component hook-up options. A single audio source can simultaneously be played in multiple zones in multiple formats (two-channel, full surround) for added flexibility in meeting client’s demands.

Audio control settings including volume, gain, balance, and a six-band equalizer put AV installers in complete command of the viewing and listening experience. For added convenience, additional HDMI matrix control options include IP, RS-232, USB, Infrared and web interface control.

AVocation System’s Mountain Series 8×8 Matrix switches are compatible with HDMI 1.4 and are HDCP 1.1 compliant. They feature support for 3-D content and 4K video, all while providing up to 36-bit deep color with resolutions up to 1080p 60Hz pixel rates (225 MHz). AVocation Systems is also an ISPCS Plugfest Participant with a demonstrated commitment to interoperability.

AVocation’s bold shipping policy for The Mountain Series line of HDMI products includes a five-year advanced replacement warranty as well as a 100% money back guarantee.

All AVocation Systems products are engineered and manufactured in the USA. For more information, please visit www.avocationsystems.com or call 877-805-6639.
