TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, September 25, 2012 — Waves Audio and Musicsoft Arts are collaborating to offer the Waves Audio Engine as an in-app upgrade to five Musicsoft Arts iOS apps: DJ Mixer, DJ Mixer Pro, DJ Spooky, Carl Cox Mixer and Vibe Music. The Waves Audio Engine, which offers such features as real-time scratching, easy-to-use sweepable high-pass/low-pass resonant filters and professional precision EQ, is the same engine used in their previous iOS app collaboration, Mashup.

“Waves is pleased that our audio engine is being implemented by Musicsoft Arts across their DJ Mixer line,” said Tomer Elbaz, Executive Vice President of Waves Consumer Division. “Bringing studio-quality sound to the iOS space is one of our priorities, and DJs the world over are sure to appreciate this powerful development.”

Aviv Eyal, Musicsoft Arts founder and CEO, stated, “We’re very excited. The new Waves Audio Engine gives our DJ Mixer apps the best-sounding resonant filters and equalizers available on mobile, and scratching with it sounds just like a real record!”
