MuxLab’s New HD-SDI Balun is Ideal for HD CCTV
TORONTO, ONTARIO, Security Canada Central 2012, Booth # 931 – MuxLab Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the newest addition to its HD-SDI family; the HD-SDI Balun (500701). This new product allows one HD-SDI signal to be transmitted up to 150 ft (45m) via Cat5e cable at HD resolution in a point-to-point configuration.
Ideal for various applications such as video production, broadcasting, post-production, and medical imaging displays, the 500701 is ideal for HD CCTV and supports SD, HD and 3G resolutions. This new balun supports transmission of up to 2.97/3.0 Gbps uncompressed, un-encrypted digital video within television facilities and between professional video equipment.
“To make things simple, the 500701 also comes as a two-pack (500701-2PK) and the unit works with devices such as camcorders, video processors, monitors, projectors, and any equipment supporting HD-SDI single link” said Marc Bohbot, MuxLab’s Director of R&D. “We are extremely excited about the launch of this new product”.
The 500701 also supports up to 400 ft (120m) via Cat5e cable at SD resolution. The unit features a cast aluminum enclosure for maximum EMI/RFI shielding making it the obvious choice for various installations.
