Digital Projection Expands Warp & Blend Offerings with Partner Scalable Display

Support for Military Simulation Style Displays

Orlando, FL December 4, 2012 — Scalable Display Technologies, a leading provider of software for megapixel display systems, and Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, today announced compatibility of Scalable Display Manager™ for automatic warp and blend of DPI’s products targeted at the simulation market.

Scalable Display and DPI have extended product integration beyond the ProAV market and now support the more complex applications such as military simulation display. Scalable’s camera-based calibration software, Scalable Display Manager, is now compatible with DPI’s warp and blend hardware solutions for both “orthographic” and “perspective” scenes. DPI offers both the Fusion line of warp & blend processors as well as internal warp and blend capabilities to its new TITAN Quad and HIGHlite projectors. The integration brings the full power of Scalable Display Manager software to the majority of the DPI line up.

“The fact that DPI now offers automatic calibration across their entire product line in both the ProAV and simulation markets is a significant accomplishment” said Andrew Jamison, CEO of Scalable Display Technologies “DPI continues to demonstrate leadership in megapixel display segment of the market. The DPI’s on-board and off-board warp & blend hardware solutions are a perfect match for Scalable Display Manager.”

“DPI has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Scalable,” said Mike Levi, President of Digital Projection Inc. “This next level of integration will continue to expand our market and marketshare. We see a trend toward more multi-projector installations, and the display maintenance task alone makes Scalable’s software a ‘must have’ component of these installations.”

Availability
Scalable Display Manager with Fusion, HIGHlite & TITAN Quad compatibility is available immediately.

Scalable Display Manager will be demonstrated at next week’s I/ITSEC exhibition taking place at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando FL, December 3 through December 6, 2012.
