SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Feb. 19, 2013 — Visionary Solutions, Inc. today announced that Joe Walsh has been appointed as the company’s new vice president of sales. Walsh has been tasked with leading global sales and new product development efforts for Visionary Solutions’ IPTV products, including the company’s flagship AVN443 encoder.

“Joe is a highly skilled professional with a proven track record for igniting multimillion dollar sales growth at emerging technology companies,” said Jordan Christoff, president of Visionary Solutions. “Joe’s primary goal will be to develop and execute a solution-based sales strategy that addresses the various vertical markets our company supports, including enterprise, education, government, house of worship, entertainment, healthcare, and broadcast. Working closely with our internal sales force and reseller network, Joe will be critical to driving additional revenue opportunities in the global IPTV market.”

After holding executive sales positions at a variety of technology vendors, including Solid State Logic and Focus Enhancements, Walsh most recently served as the vice president of sales and marketing at Fast Forward Video, where he was instrumental in growing the company’s worldwide sales channel, expanding its presence in Asia and Europe, and increasing revenues by approximately 37 percent.

Walsh will report to Christoff and will work out of his home office in South Carolina.
