Hisense K610 and Roku Ready K360M Launch In Walmart Stores Today

Suwanee, Georgia, April 9, 2013 — Hisense USA today announced the immediate availability of its 40-inch and 46-inch K360M Roku Ready™ televisions and 50-inch and 55-inch K610 Smart TV models in more than 2,500 Walmart stores across the country.

With a super sleek 13mm bezel and built-in WiFi, the Full HD 1080p K610 series comes loaded with the latest Hisense Smart TV interface, allowing consumers to access thousands of Vudu™ Apps and HD movies, Netflix®, YouTube™ and Pandora® right on their TV. With a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for dramatic motion clarity, the K610 brings forth stunning details and crystal-clear, vibrant colors to create a brilliant picture.

“Our goal is to provide every home with a feature-packed television that is perfect for the whole family to enjoy not only as a traditional television, but as a media hub enabling access to additional content,” said Jonathan Frank, Vice President of Marketing, Hisense USA. “These two releases demonstrate our continued effort to offer consumers the freedom of choice with the most advanced content delivery system.”

The Hisense K360M includes the new standard MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port, which resembles a traditional HDMI input and supports up to 1080p resolution high-definition video and audio content. Being Roku Ready certified means Hisense customers have the ability to use the Roku Streaming Stick™ for instant content streaming of more than 750 entertainment channels featuring movies, songs and games from the Roku streaming platform.
“The Roku streaming platform provides TV manufacturers like Hisense the ability to offer customers Smart TV functionality without developing their own streaming platform, and provides consumers with value, ease of use and limitless content,” said Chas Smith, general manager of OEM business at Roku.
