A virtual press conference from Sound & Video Contractor

Three new Video Wall and Multiview Solutions from Gefen Debut at Infocomm

Three new products from Gefen make their first appearance at InfoComm, offering advanced methods of seamless source switching with video wall creation for commercial applications.

The 1:4 HD Video Wall Controller for HDMI is ideal for creating a 2×2 video wall consisting of four displays with bezel adjusting control. It has the ability to show the same video on one large display or on all four displays. Video is scaled for optimal output supporting resolutions up to 1080p full HD. Adjustable border control allows users to refine the video for a high quality presentation. An on-screen menu system accessible through front panel buttons, IP control, RS-232 and IR remote control guides users through system setup, all features and control.

The 4×1 Multiview Switcher for HDMI is a seamless switcher that connects four sources to one display. It has dual functionality in that it can switch between all four sources and output the selected source to a single display, or it can output all four sources as individual windows on a single display for picture-in-picture functionality. Each output is scaled and sized for maximum display size. Seamless switching enables an instantaneous switch with no delay or picture loss. HDCP is fully supported. Users access all features through an on-screen display via front panel buttons, IP control, RS-232 or IR remote control.

The 4×4 Multiview Matrix for HDMI is a seamless matrix switcher that integrates four different sources and four displays using HDMI. It can route any of the sources to any one of the four displays or it can output all four sources as four windows on a single display or any combination in between. Access to all features and functions is through an on-screen display using front panel buttons, IP control, RS-232 or IR remote control.

“The 4×4 Multiview Matrix for HDMI is the only inexpensive seamless switching matrix on the market today that enables an instantaneous switch with no delay or picture loss,” said Hagai Gefen, president, Gefen. “HDCP and resolutions up to 1080p full HD are fully supported.”
