InfoComm Honors Founder and Chairman of Kramer Electronics, Dr. Joseph Kramer, with the 2013 Adele De Berri Pioneer of AV Award

InfoComm International®, the leading professional audiovisual trade association representing the professional audiovisual industry, is pleased to announce that Dr. Joseph Kramer has been honored with the Adele De Berri Pioneer of AV Award. The award was presented at InfoComm 2013; the world’s largest commercial audiovisual trade show.

Since founding Kramer Electronics more than 30 years ago, Dr. Joseph Kramer has fostered many audiovisual technology innovations that impacted users in various ways. He’s given them the ability to perfect image quality in audiovisual systems to the highest level possible; offered pro-AV solutions that simplify the design and installation of effective audiovisual systems; and offered system designers, installers, and users easy-to-operate, value-oriented and reliable products that conform to the highest specifications available in the market.

Dr. Kramer’s innovations have improved the jobs and lives of designers, installers, and users by giving them simplified installations and greater functionality at lower costs. With a presence in 23 countries worldwide, Kramer Electronics has created innovative products such as video-correction processors, presentation switchers, scaler/switchers, and compact solutions such as the Kramer TOOLS™ line. Such developments generate opportunities for more and newer visual and audio presentation applications. Today, Dr. Kramer is developing and promoting the concepts of wireless signal distribution and IP-based video systems that are expected to fuel the digital signage and overall pro-AV marketplace.

“The innovative spirit of Dr. Joseph Kramer has propelled the industry forward,” said David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, Executive Director, InfoComm International. “Thanks to his leadership, many AV professionals are able to do their jobs better, faster and more collaboratively, and InfoComm is pleased to recognize his contributions.”

“This award is an important, worldwide recognition of Kramer and the achievements it has reached,” said award winner, Dr. Joseph Kramer. “It is also a personal recognition that makes me look back and appreciate the pile of unique products I have developed throughout the years. I am extremely proud of the human resources at Kramer Electronics. Our accomplishments of over 30 years of activity are products of our employee dedication and wisdom.”
