PixelFLEX Announces Unveiling of 6mm LED Video Curtain at LDI 2013

PixelFLEX, a leading provider of flexible and lightweight LED video screens, is unveiling its 6mm curtain video screen at LDI 2013 in November (Booth 669). The new 6mm curtain is the company’s highest resolution offering, joining PixelFLEX’s growing line of products that include panels ranging from 7mm to 100mm, in addition to its LR-4 and LR-8 lightweight rigid video screens for outdoor and indoor applications.

Providing a variety of video display solutions to meet any and all live event needs, PixelFLEX’s LED curtains are easy to operate and set up – videos and images can be sent to the screen using any computer with a DVI-D connection. Flexible in all directions, the curtains are able to bend and shape around structures for a more creative display effect and can be stored in a single road case to simplify shipping logistics while minimizing transportation costs.

PixelFLEX’s 6mm panel is 1.97′ x 9.84′ in size, but modifications can be made easily to provide a customized video content delivery solution to meet any need. Each 6mm curtain video screen weighs approximately 11.5Kg/sq.m (25 lbs), which is 70-80 percent less than most other high-resolution LED video screens of this size.

“With popular musicians such as Luke Bryan and Skillet using PixelFLEX screens on tour, the demand for our panels continues to grow,” said Jeremy Byrd, the company’s founder and president. “The one request we’ve heard most often from customers is the need for a higher resolution panel to deliver high quality video to audiences at any distance. With the introduction of our 6mm curtain, PixelFLEX is at the sweet spot for smaller venues where distance between the stage and audience presents a variety of challenges.”

To meet the increased demand for its panels by musicians, houses of worship, universities and other venues, PixelFLEX plans to introduce several other high-resolution LED curtain video screens prior to the LDI Show in Las Vegas. Visit them at booth 669 for a glimpse at the 6mm curtain.
