Casio Expands Signature LampFree® Projector Lineup for the Hospitality Space

 

CASIO EXPANDS SIGNATURE LAMPFREE® PROJECTOR LINEUP FOR THE HOSPITALITY SPACE
New Projectors Equipped with Fifth Generation LampFree® Technology, Built-In Memory, USB Display and Wired LAN Projection 

DOVER, NJ, JUNE 3rd, 2014 Casio America, Inc., a pioneer in the LampFree® projection space, is pleased to introduce a new lineup of Signature projectors. Geared for the hospitality industry, the new lineup of Signature projectors offer Casio’s LASER & LED HYBRID Light Source, which combines a laser, fluorescent element and LEDs to generate high brightness. Now in its 5th generation, the improved LASER & LED HYBRID Light Source offers a 30 percent increase in light output for improved colors for all models in Casio’s LampFree® portfolio in addition to an estimated 20,000 hours lifespan with minimal brightness degradation and continuous operation. The average user will save an estimated $800 after 6,000 hours of use compared to traditional mercury lamp projectors.

“Since its introduction, the Signature series has become our most popular product line with the K-12 education market. These new feature enhancements will further solidify the Signature series’ popularity,” said Matt Mustachio, general manager of Casio’s Business Projector Division.

Weighing in at 8.6 pounds, the new Signature projectors offer a variety of features including remote operation capable through Crestron Roomview™, Intelligent Brightness Control, wired LAN projection and MobiShow®. The projectors also provide a powerful 3D graphic experience as each model is fitted with a fully connectable interface, including three types of video and audio inputs, as well as HDMI, RGB and RS-232C terminals.

Equipped with 2 GB of built-in memory, the new LampFree® Signature projectors allow many file formats, such as PDF and QuickTime, to be stored in the projector for quick and easy playback. The can also display content from a PC by connecting the projector and PC through a USB cable, as well as a variety of languages – 10 new in main (total 23) and 8 new in USB (total 18) including Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Finnish, Turkish and Portuguese.

Casio’s LampFree® projectors come with a standard three (3) year parts and labor warranty plus a five (5) year or 10,000 hour warranty on the LASER & LED Hybrid Light source. The new Signature models will be available in July with a MSRP starting at $919.99 through Casio’s national Pro AV dealer network and authorized distributors.
