St Paul, Minnesota This election year, several major US broadcast networks entrusted RTS to deliver communication to their production teams in realtime across the entire country during the convention. One major news network used RTS to establish a remote connection from Washington DC to St Paul via RVON-8 VoIP interface for ADAM to RVON-I/O Analog VoIP interface. This method allowed them to connect KP-32 Classic keypanel users in Washington to on-site crew members in St. Paul as seamlessly as if they were there. more

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia outfitted their Cardiac Catheterization Lab with a state-of-the-art intercom system from RTS Digital Matrix and Telex RadioCom. A Cardiac Catheterization Lab, or Cath Lab, is a specially equipped examination room designed for performing coronary catheterizations; a minimally invasive procedure that can diagnose or treat heart conditions.
With such a delicate procedure, effective communication is absolutely essential. Everyone involved in the process; doctors, nurses, technicians, and other staff, must be able to contact each other clearly and reliably at all times. That is why the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia chose a digital matrix system from RTS with wireless components from Telex RadioCom. Each of the four control rooms is fitted with a Telex RadioCom BTR-700 wireless base station and a RTS KP-12LK 12-position keypanel. The KP-12LK is used by the nurses so they can speak to each other in their respective cath labs. RKP-4 4-channel wireless beltpacks by RTS were used to facilitate wireless communication, as well as Telex TR-700 wireless beltpacks and PH-88R single-sided lightweight headsets. more

Camden, UK RTS intercom technology is playing an important role in the refurbished master control room (MCR) at MTV’s European headquarters in Camden, North London, which provides switching for three onsite studios and over 50 television channels across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe.
Based on a 112-port ADAM (Advanced Digital Audio Matrix) frame, with integral RVON RTS Voice Over Network) VoIP cards, the system is able to connect to desktop panels using Ethernet links, plus three Virtual Keypanels, around the MTV studios complex. more

The EKP 32 CLD, which RTS is introducing at the IBC 2008, is an expansion keypanel for the popular KP 32 CLD keypanel.

The RTS TBX-Tribus surpasses the Dual Bus Expansion card with superior channel capability and redefined system architecture, thus improving the robustness of the TBX-Tribus-based ADAM system. One card connects up to three ADAM frames, allowing synchronous communication over multiple ADAM frames using a Mesh network structure. Multiple TBX-Tribus cards can be used in an ADAM frame to take complete advantage of the redundancy feature offered for mission-critical communication environments.
