Lexicon® PCM Hardware Now Supported In Harman HiQnet™ System Architect™ Version 2.3

Lexicon Pro today announced that its PCM Hardware processors are now supported in Harman HiQnet™ System Architect™ 2.3. The new version optimizes Lexicon’s hardware and provides more enhanced control and functionality to live sound and studio users.

The new version of System Architect allows for more seamless control through real-time input and output meters, control of all parameters and the ability to change machine configurations, clock rates, and audio source. PCM hardware users can now also store and recall device files, create custom control panels and transfer presets.

BSS Audio® Introduces Full-Bandwidth Acoustic Echo Cancellation Algorithm for Soundweb London Conferencing Processors

BSS Audio®, a Harman International Company (NYSE-HAR), today introduced a new full-bandwidth Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) algorithm for its Soundweb™ London conferencing processors. The new full-bandwidth AEC algorithm is released with HiQnet London Architect v3.04 and can be used with existing Soundweb London AEC Input Cards and the recently-introduced Soundweb London BLU-101 and BLU-102 devices.

The existing 8kHz-bandwidth AEC algorithm is optimized for POTS, VoIP phone system and digital phone system applications. The new full-bandwidth AEC algorithm facilitates enhanced fidelity for specific applications, while also offering a reduced processing latency. A property within HiQnet London Architect v3.04 allows users to switch between the new full-bandwidth AEC algorithm and the existing 8kHz-bandwidth algorithm. Radio Iasi, part of National Radio of Romania, recently purchased three Studer OnAir 2500 broadcast consoles with Route 6000 routing and signal processing systems as part of an upgrade of its facilities.
