Sound Of Authority specifies L-ACOUSTICS loudspeakers and amplified controllers for acoustically challenging sanctuary retrofit

CHICAGO — When Pastor John Hanna of New Life Covenant Oakwood Church called upon Sound Of Authority President and CEO Ernest Greene to provide a sound system design for his 800-seat Tabernacle on Chicago’s south side, the loudspeaker choice was a simple one: L-ACOUSTICS KUDO.

Greene, himself the owner of several dozen KUDO enclosures for his successful concert sound company, knew that the arrays would be ideal for New Life’s East 78th Street parish because of the difficult acoustical nature of the room. more

LOS ANGELES — Artesia, California-based UBI-TECH, a design-build contracting firm serving the house of worship market, reports that it installed an L-ACOUSTICS KUDO system at Sa-rang Community Church in Anaheim earlier this year.

With its 80-member choir, 25-piece orchestra and two full praise teams for Korean and English services, it is obvious that Orange County’s largest Korean megachurch places a significant emphasis on its music ministry. So when the time came to update its aging PA setup, Sa-rang’s technical crew spent nearly four months researching what would be the best retrofit option for its 1,500-seat sanctuary. more
