The MADI-16+ card expands the configuration capabilities of the ADAM matrix frame and the ADAM-M very compact matrix frame by utilizing up to 64 channels of industry-standard MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface) technology to connect any AES-10-compliant devices over coaxial and fiber connections.

To give the user flexible options and uncompromising quality, the MADI-16+ operates at sampling rates of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz. The MADI-16+ is a point-to-point configuration which provides for little or no delay in the transmission of audio across lines. more

RTS is pleased to show the all-new ADAM-M compact intercom matrix frame at InfoComm 2010. The 3RU matrix frame supports eight interface cards, in addition to redundant master controllers. In keeping with the RTS principle of Backward Compatible, Forward Thinking, the ADAM-M is fully compatible with all existing ADAM cards, including the new MADI-16+. When combined with the MADI-16+, the ADAM-M can be configured with up to 256 ports – the most in its class.

In addition to MADI, users now have the option of configuring a very compact frame with AES, RVON, and analog with full redundancy. These advanced connectivity options save additional space and complexity by reducing the need for external cross connect panels, greatly simplifying wiring. more

NLFX Professional, of Bemidji, MN, selected systems built around Telex RadioCom BTR-1 UHF wireless intercom systems—standard issue on NFL sidelines—for system upgrades at North Dakota State University and the FARGODOME. This makes NDSU the first College Division One football team to utilize a complete Lombardi system for home and away games – again, standard practice in the NFL. more
