(VAI) has supported Trevor LIVE, the signature annual event of The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis intervention and suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ youth. Held at the Hollywood Palladium, the ready-for-primetime show honored Kathy Griffin and featured guest performances by Sarah Silverman, Wayne Brady, Neil Patrick Harris and Queen Latifah. grandMA mingled with music royalty when lighting designer Demfis Fyssicopulos selected a grandMA console to control, lighting and video components in Prince’s Welcome 2 America engagement in the New York metropolitan area. A.C.T Lighting is the exclusive distributor of grandMA in North America.

Prince played two shows at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey then moved to Madison Square Garden for three performances before and after Christmas. The in-the-round stage was shaped like his famous, unpronounceable name symbol – essentially three catwalks joined by a circle. His band played in the center of the loop.

A.C.T Lighting has expanded its team of highly qualified professionals with the addition of Doug Mekanik as a Technical Support specialist. In his new role, Mekanik will support the entire range of A.C.T Lighting products, including MA Lighting, Clay Paky, LiteWare and W-DMX, as well as train customers on the use and operation of those products.
