Electrosonic MS9200P HD players are a key component in the innovative content delivery system designed by David Niles of Niles Creative Group to source the spectacular “Comcast Experience� LED display in the lobby of Philadelphia’s new Comcast Center.

The mammoth LED wall measures 83.3 feet wide and 25.4 feet high with rectangular cutouts for the lobby’s three banks of elevators. Sporting 10 million pixels in a seamless flat array, the LED wall delivers an extremely high degree of photorealism at five times the resolution of HDTV. more

Visitors to Crossroads of the World, a two-story, 400,000 square-foot mall in Jakarta, Indonesia, eagerly await the spectacular once-an-hour dancing waters attraction in a Rockefeller Center-style plaza designed by Gary Goddard Entertainment (GGE) with engineering, AV and lighting support from Electrosonic Inc.

GGE, an innovator of themed attractions and destinations, turned to Electrosonic for audio and video equipment, moving lights and control systems for the fountain show at Crossroads of the World, a highly-immersive retail, dining and show experience. The mall is part of the ten million square-foot Grand Indonesia development which links Jakarta’s tallest premium-grade office tower, a 57-story residential tower and the iconic Hotel Indonesia-Kempinski. more

Stage Research, Inc., the developer of audio, sound design and lighting software, has announced the release of SFX 6.1, the newest version of its leading live entertainment sound playback software.

SFX, which typically replaces one or more CD players or minidisc systems, was designed to put the art back into sound design. The core product of Stage Research, SFX embodies the company’s Sounds Simple philosophy, which provides more power and flexibility than traditional playback equipment. Media server programmer Peter Acken tapped one grandMA, one grandMA Light, and grandMA on PC for “WrestleMania XXIV� at Orlando’s Citrus Bowl, where they were primarily used to control servers, and the “Big Lights�, Syncrolights, which were utilized for the big crowd shot moments. The spectacle/cornucopia is the pride and joy of lighting designer/director/programmer Joe Paradise, who is working with 16 Infinity Wash XLs and 36 ParLite Leds, which complement the tour’s layered design.
