Ideal for themed entertainment, museums, and other applications requiring high-resolution video playback, the Digital Binloop HD stores video on CompactFlash so it has no moving parts to wear out and handles video resolutions of 1080i, 720p, 480P/576P, or 480I/576I. Induction Dynamics Introduces In-Wall Loudspeakers at CEDIA

Designed for in-wall or on-wall mounting, these loudspeakers offer easy installation and outstanding sonic quality.

The ID1.iw features a three-way speaker plus dual 10? subwoofers. The subwoofers are located in dedicated back boxes, with the woofer, tweeter and mid-range driver in their own cabinet. The lightweight back boxes come as one piece and can mount directly into the wall or on the wall using Induction Dynamics’ low-profile, custom painted B1 box. Induction Dynamics Introduces ID1.15, S1.8 Loudspeakers at CEDIA

The two products complete the company’s “Super Loudspeaker? line, which also includes the ID1.18 tower loudspeakers and the C1.8 center loudspeaker.

The ID1.15 measures 62.5? in height and incorporates a 1.125? high-power soft dome tweeter, a 3? soft dome midrange, an 8? woofer with Kevlar cone, and dual 15? subwoofers with laminated cones. Dugan E-1 Automatic Mixing Controller to be shown at AES

The E-1 Automatic Mixing Controller replaces the Model E as Dugan’s economy model. The E-1 provides eight channels of signal processing and patches into the input insert points of an audio mixing console. The product detects which microphones are being used and makes fast, transparent cross-fades, freeing the operator to focus on balance and sound quality instead of having to pay constant attention to the faders. more

Alcorn McBride to showcase Digital Binloop with CobraNet at AES

The Digital Binloop provides up to 32 tracks of 16 or 24-bit WAV or AIFF files at up to 96 kHz, or up to 16 channels of MPEG-2 video at up to 15 Mbps. Audio or video clips are stored on Compact Flash media; each card can hold hours of audio. Each Digital Binloop accommodates up to 16 reproducer cards. Mono audio files can be independently assigned to the left and right channels of each reproducer, giving the user 32 completely independent tracks. A CobraNet® interface option allows users to easily interface the product with networked audio systems. more
