Hampton, NJ – Kramer Electronics USA, Inc., is pleased to announce as of January 1, 2011, Kent Cawthorne has been promoted to Vice President of Sales for both the Kramer and Sierra Video brands. With this promotion Kent will manage the Kramer Sales team and he will be responsible for all sales of both brands through the Pro AV dealer channel.

Dave Bright, President of Kramer USA, stated “This is the second promotion for Kent in less than a year. The move from National Sales Manager to VP of Sales is a natural progression. The second promotion came a little sooner than originally planned, but with all of the re-organizing and expansion planned to our sales and sales support groups, it makes more sense for Kent to have more voice in the decisions to be made about programs and personnel from day one of 2011.�

This unit was originally designed only for use as part of Kramer’s SummitViewâ„¢ system, used to control audio components, video components, and other room facilities such as lights and screens. The RC-63DL room controller is now being offered as an advanced, standalone, wall-mounted room controller that integrates audio, video, and room control into a centralized system.

Hampton, New Jersey- Kramer Electronics is pleased to announce that effective immediately Chris Santos has been promoted to National Sales Support Manager for Kramer Electronics USA (KUS). This is the fourth major organizational promotion necessitated by the substantial growth Kramer has enjoyed this year.

In this newly created position, Chris will support the sales of Sierra Video brand products sold through KUS channels. Along with the support of the Sierra factory, Chris will ensure all KUS sales personnel are properly trained and supported to enable them to identify and close business opportunities.

Chris’ additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, sales prospecting, sales lead follow-up, writing custom proposals, configuring systems, attending trade and dealer shows, forecasting sales, assisting with on-site project management, and providing the factory with product development feedback more

Advanced EDID Capture and Emulation for Accurate Connection to Sources

The VA-2H is a diagnostic and debugging tool for installers working with HDMI devices. The unit can switch three different EDIDs to the HDMI input and has a USB connection and a software editor, allowing the installer to manipulate various parameters of the EDID. Hampton, NJ – Kramer Electronics USA Inc., announced that it has promoted Kent Cawthorne to the new position of National Sales Manager for all Kramer and Sierra Video brand products.

Cawthorne, who for the last 2 years has been Kramer’s Director of Sales for Sierra Video, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kramer Electronics USA, has an extensive background in A/V and broadcast sales. Cawthorne began his career as a sales manager at the dealer level, focused on developing customer relationships for broadcast, production, corporate and educational customers. Subsequently he moved to the manufacturing side of the industry and has held various management positions with such companies as Sony, Pacifiq Technologies, Panasonic and Grass Valley. Prior to joining Kramer, Kent served as VP of Channel Sales for QuStream where he developed a variety of very successful sales strategies and initiatives. more
