The FC-5 is a protocol translator designed to make an RS-232 controlled machine (Kramer and non-Kramer products) compatible with other RS-232 based protocols. This unique, compact Kramer TOOL™ allows Kramer products to be very easily incorporated into broader systems employing components from various manufacturers. Because the FC-5 will work with any RS-232 controllable product and can convert RS-232 commands to contact closure and relay control signals, it will also make system integration of various components such as screens and drapes easier. more

The unit is the first Kramer model to combine the convenience and technology of switching multiple audio and video sources with control of media room features such as window blinds, room lights and projector lifts.

The VP-23RC offers a single-box solution that incorporates a Presentation Switcher section and Media/Room Controller section, with the option of integrated or independent operation of each section. Kramer Electronics is showing four new isolation transformer models at NAB in booth #SL6105. The TR-1, TR-1A, TR-2A and TR-3 are designed to eliminate noise in video and audio signals caused by ground loop problems.

In many video and audio applications, the connection between sources and displays can introduce a 50Hz or 60Hz ground loop resulting in unwanted noise in the form of video hum bars or audio hum or buzz. The new Kramer isolation transformers, the TR-1 for composite video signals, the TR-1A for balanced mono audio signals, the TR-2A for balanced stereo audio signals and the TR-3 for composite video and balanced stereo audio signals, break the ground connections in video and audio transmission lines to eliminate any hum caused by ground loops. more

Sierra Pro XL routing switchers feature 450MHz bandwidth with exceptionally flat response and IP connectivity for control via a standard TCP/IP socket connection. Sierra Pro XL products retain the advanced features offered in the original Sierra Pro family including Matrix Mapping and Room Grouping.

Kramer Electronics is pleased to announce the newest addition to its product line, the VP-8x8A computer graphics video matrix switcher with both balanced and unbalanced stereo audio capability for each input. The VP-8x8A is an updated version of the very popular Kramer VP-8×8 with the stereo audio capability added, and is being shown at NAB in booth #SL6105.

The Kramer VP-8x8A is a 350 MHz high bandwidth matrix switcher for computer graphics video signals with resolutions ranging from VGA through UXGA on 15-pin HD connectors with both balanced and unbalanced stereo audio. It is a true matrix switcher capable of routing any input to any or all outputs simultaneously. Each input and each output accept both a balanced stereo audio signal on terminal block connectors as well as an unbalanced stereo audio signal on a 3.5mm mini plug connector. The unit has a recessed level control for each audio input and there are audio output controls (+ and -) on the front panel with a 7 segment LED readout of the relative audio output in dBs. more
