Peavey, founder and CEO of Peavey Electronics Corporation, discussed career opportunities in music with Los Angeles-area high school students before delivering an inspiring address during the evening program, which featured performances from some of the state’s brightest musical lights—a reflection of the great diversity of Mississippi music. more

Hartley Peavey’s mission to restore the sound of the historic Hamasa Shrine Temple Theater in his hometown of Meridian, Miss., is more than just a professional challenge. It’s personal.

Joseph Lane Peavey, the Peavey Electronics Corporation founder and CEO’s grandfather, was very active in the Hamasa Shriners—his name is even engraved on the Moorish Revival theater’s cornerstone. Like Hartley, J.L. Peavey was an entrepreneur and an inventor with many patents to his credit. Hartley inherited his collection of hand tools when he passed in 1955, and two years later used those tools to build the first Peavey amplifier. more

ControlMatrix is an extremely powerful paging control system for MediaMatrix digital audio systems, and can be designed as either a centralized, distributed or hybrid system. The new ControlMatrix supports up to 16 stations per host, and the number of hosts can be scaled according to the total number of stations needed. more

MediaMatrix NIO-4×4 CardMediaMatrix by Peavey (InfoComm 2009 exhibit #5649) proudly releases the new NIO-4×4 eight-channel input/output card for the NION® digital audio signal processing platform.

The NIO-4×4 card features four microphone and line-level inputs and four line-level outputs, and is compatible with all NION processing nodes, including NION n6, NION n3 and NION nX. The NIO-4×4 card installs into a rear slot on all NION nodes via DIN connector and expands the I/O options of the MediaMatrix NION DSP platform. NION is built on an embedded Linux operating system architecture designed for stable, efficient and robust performance. more

MediaMatrix by Peavey (InfoComm 2009 exhibit #5649) proudly releases its new advanced Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) eight-channel input card for the NION® digital signal processing platform.

The NIO-AEC card is compatible with all NION processing nodes, including NION n6, NION n3 and NION nX, and is supported by MediaMatrix NWare software. The NIO-AEC card can also be used in projects along with the CAB™ 4n and CAB™ 8i CobraNet bridges or other CobraNet sources.
