Cabletime Announces Comprehensive Partner Programme At ISE 2011

ISE 2011, Amsterdam – 1-3 February 2011. ISE will this year provide a forum for Cabletime, developer of the MediaStar range of IPTV distribution solutions, to launch a comprehensive Partner Programme targeting resellers whose customers will benefit from IPTV, digital video and HD quality products.

Cabletime (booth 3D92) already works with an established network of audio visual specialist integrators, but with the growth of digital content delivery across LAN/WAN and 3G networks, the company is keen to extend its programme to a broader channel audience.

New Army HQ in Andover becomes latest MOD site to install MediaStar

UK, November 2, 2010. The newly opened HQ Land Forces base in Andover, Wiltshire, has become the latest Ministry of Defence site to install a MediaStar solution from Cabletime. This marks a period of active investment in IPTV and TV distribution at MOD sites over the past 14 months.

MediaStar Evolution, the powerful IP-based solution for digital media, TV and AV content distribution over networks, has been installed by leading video conferencing and audio visual systems integrator, Audio Visual Machines (AVM), at the Marlborough Lines site in Andover. An additional four large MOD bases are now using Evolution, a further one has installed both Evolution and Cabletime’s Cat-5/UTP solution MediaStar Pro, and several smaller sites are using MediaStar Compact.

MediaStar used to distribute live TV to journalists covering Pope’s visit to UK

A MediaStar distribution system developed by Cabletime will lie at the heart of the broadcast feed to hundreds of journalists in England and Scotland during the visit to the UK by Pope Benedict XVI this week.

The MediaStar Pro system has been utilised by Feltech, the specialists in live event media facilities, to deliver coverage from the BBC, ITN and Sky, live as it unfolds. Between 400 and 500 accredited journalists are expected to use the Media Centre facilities, located in London’s QE2 Conference Centre, and a temporary dedicated marquee situated in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. more

Cabletime’s new LAN-Caster IP Gateway On Show At InfoComm 08
