Telefe, Argentina’s top-rated broadcaster, uses CG5 Multichannel HD to remotely control the entire broadcast graphics and channel branding operations of the network.

Matrox® Graphics Inc. today announced compatibility of Matrox Avio™ F125 and Matrox Extio™ F2408 KVM extenders with the EIZO Raptor SQ2804 2Kx2K primary control monitor for air traffic control. Matrox KVM extenders allow ATC workstations to be located in a different room than the control monitors, simplifying system maintenance and security. They feature reliable, fanless designs and the ability to transmit all signals with zero compression and zero latency on a single duplex LC-LC fiber-optic cable, making them ideal for ATC environments.

Matrox KVM Extenders Now Compatible with EIZO 2Kx2K Air Traffic Control Display

The Raptor SQ2804 monitor features EIZO eBlue LED backlight technology, offering outstanding image quality, low energy consumption, and a long lifetime. Two dual-link digital video signal inputs are included as standard and a DisplayPort™ input is available as an option.

When used with the EIZO display, Matrox Avio F125 fiber-optic KVM transmitter/receiver pairs extend dual-link DVI (2048×2048) video, audio, multiple high-speed USB 2.0 compliant devices, keyboard and mouse from the host computer by up to 400 m (1312 ft) over multimode cable and 10 km (6.25 mi) over single-mode cable.

Matrox Extio F2408 Quad KVM extenders separate keyboard, mouse, audio peripherals and up to four DisplayPort displays from the rest of the computer by up to 1 km (3280 feet) via fiber-optic cable and PCI Express® bus-extension technology.

Matrox Monarch HD — Video Streaming and Recording Appliance
Matrox Monarch™ HD is a small, easy-to-use H.264 encoder designed for professional video producers who need to simultaneously stream a live event and record a mastering-quality version for post-event editing. The region-of-interest feature lets the user define any region of any size from the computer display and output just that content at the required broadcast resolution. Matrox Technology to Drive Video Walls and Deliver Video Wall Content All Around Integrated Systems Europe 2014

Matrox video wall controller boards and H.264 encoders/decoders will be featured in action by Advantech, Bilfinger Mauell, Polymedia and VuWall

Matrox® Graphics Inc. today announced that the Matrox Mura™ MPX Series of output/input video wall controller boards will be used by Advantech, Polymedia and VuWall to drive a variety of video wall configurations at ISE 2014 (Amsterdam RAI, Feb. 4-6). The Matrox Maevex™ 5100 Series H.264 encoder will be used by Bilfinger Mauell to encode video over IP for delivery to its ME multiView X omnium visualization system. The Matrox products will also be featured on the Matrox stand 11-M66.

Matrox at ISE 2014

Advantech Europe B.V. — stand 8-M210Advantech has developed a series of industrial server boards, chassis and pre-configured systems (AVS series products) supporting two to five Matrox Mura MPX cards. The AVS-540 pre-configured system or ASMB-822 server board with five PCIe x16 slots can support five Mura MPX cards, allowing for a maximum of twenty video source inputs and twenty high-quality outputs. Matrox at Digital Signage Expo 2014 — Product Preview

H.264 encoders/decoders, video wall controller boards, and external multi-display adapters to be showcased

At DSE 2014 (Las Vegas, Feb. 12-13, booth 348), Matrox® Graphics Inc. will present Matrox Maevex™ 5100 Series H.264 encoders/decoders, Matrox Mura™ MPX Series video wall controller boards and Matrox DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go™ external multi-display adapters. Demonstrations will show digital signage integrators and retailers how to create high-impact, memorable and interactive user experiences for their customers using Matrox multi-display products.

H.264 Encoders/Decoders
Matrox Maevex 5100 Series delivers excellent streaming quality at a fraction of the price of traditional encode/decode systems. Maevex video over IP solutions enable the extension of Full HD quality 1080p60 video over standard IP networks. Bitrates are user definable between 100Kbps and 25Mbps allowing for multiple streams on both 100Mb and 1000Mb standard networks. Maevex H.264 Encoders and Decoders capture, stream, and decode video from a variety of sources, and even allow for software-based decoding on non-Maevex devices. At DSE 2014 digital signage integrators will discover how they can take advantage of Maevex’s high MTBF and fanless design to create low maintenance point-to-multipoint installations as well as encode/stream solutions where digital signage players do the decoding. Maevex units come bundled with Matrox PowerStream™ software, allowing for easy remote management of Maevex devices and enabling a wide variety of user-defined stream-management features including unicast and multicast networking.

Video Wall Controller Boards
Matrox Mura MPX Series video wall controller boards feature flexible inputs and high-quality outputs allowing integrators to easily and cost-effectively build custom video walls of almost any size using a single high-density controller system. Matrox and third-party software options include simple control from Android™ and iPad® devices and easy integration with existing controller systems. At DSE 2014, digital signage integrators are invited to witness a demonstration of rich transitions and eye-catching effects applied to both recorded and live content using the latest Mura Network API. Integrators will soon be able to use software from Matrox partners to blend existing signage content with content from other sources to create attention-grabbing video walls.

External Multi-Display Adapters
Matrox DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go external multi-display adapters let users add two or three monitors to a small player PC or desktop computer that does not have an expansion slot for a multi-display graphics card. They connect to the video output of the system and use its existing GPU to provide high quality, uncompressed graphics and video across all monitors. The DSE 2014 demonstration will show interactive multi-touch performance across the multiple screens for use in interactive kiosks, way finding, retail and exhibit display walls, as well as collaborative multi-panel classroom, boardroom, and command & control installations.

Multi-touch support across stretched multi-monitor desktops under Windows 7 simplifies interactive display wall implementation

Matrox® Graphics Inc. and 3M™ Touch Systems (subsidiary of the 3M Electronic Solutions Division) announced that both companies have validated a new 3M touch driver that will support multi-touch functionality across two, three or more 3M Multi-touch Displays powered by a variety of Matrox multi-monitor products. Integrators can now pair Matrox products with 3M Multi-touch Displays to create attention-grabbing, interactive digital signage and collaborative video walls that span multiple displays, without the need for touch overlays or licensing fees. Applications include interactive kiosks, way finding, retail and exhibit display walls, as well as collaborative multi-panel classroom, boardroom, and command & control installations.
