STEWART FILMSCREEN APPOINTS PETER BROWN AS VP, SALES AND MARKETING

Formerly a top sales and marketing executive at Pioneer Elite, Sonance, and Hitachi, Brown will spearhead Stewart’s sales and marketing efforts, commencing with the presentation of The Stewart Filmscreen 4K+ Ultra HD Experience Center at CEDIA Expo 2014 

TORRANCE, CA – September 3, 2014– Stewart Filmscreen Corp., the leading international manufacturer of projection screens and specialty optical coatings for residential and commercial applications, announced the appointment of Peter Brown as VP, Sales and Marketing, who joined the Company in August. 

A seasoned executive with deep-rooted industry affiliations, Peter’s background includes more than 35 years of sales and marketing experience. His career began in audio-video retail sales, merchandising and management, he then went on to Pioneer where he was VP of Sales for the Home Entertainment Division. Later, he went on to be the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Sonance’s iPort line and Director of National Accounts for all the company’s retail brands. He held a similar role at Hitachi, where he served as Vice President of Consumer Sales, leading a $300M regional sales team.

He will be in charge of Stewart Filmscreen residential sales, serving as the in-house contact for the residential market, as well as spearheading marketing initiatives for both the residential and commercial channels.
