Extron Introduces 7-inch TouchLink Touchpanel With Contemporary Thin Bezel Design

The TLP 710MV and TLP 710TV are fully configurable, 7″ touchpanels featuring contemporary, thin bezel designs that complement the aesthetics of any environment. The Extron TLP 710 Series has an 800×480 resolution touchscreen and incorporates PoE – Power over Ethernet, which eliminates the need for a local power supply. Each model has a built-in MTP – Twisted Pair receiver, which accepts either S-video or composite video signals over standard CAT 5 cable. This enhanced connectivity provides integration flexibility and aids in cable management by minimizing the number of connections at the touchpanel. Extron Now Shipping New Two-Way SoundField®, Full-Range Ceiling Tile Speaker

Extron Electronics is pleased to announce the introduction and immediate availability of the new SoundField SF 228T, a two-way ceiling tile speaker for 70 volt/100 volt systems. This Extron exclusive design features a low profile, 2′ x 2′ (61 cm x 61 cm) by 5.3″ (13.5 cm) deep enclosure that is UL 2043 plenum rated, weighs less than 20 pounds (9 kg), and drops directly into standard suspended ceilings, providing quicker installations. The two-way ported design includes an 8″ (165 mm) woofer and a 1″ (2.5 mm) silk dome tweeter that provides a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz for high fidelity music and speech reproduction. The SF 228T offers 60 watts continuous pink noise and 120 watts continuous program output. Extron Expands SMX System MultiMatrix with New USB Matrix Boards

Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce two new USB matrix switcher boards for the SMX System MultiMatrix modular, field-upgradeable matrix switcher. The SMX USB matrix boards are designed to route up to eight Host CPUs to up to four peripheral locations equipped with one or more USB 2.0 devices, such as keyboards and mice, Web cams, personal media players, or portable hard drives. New Long Distance HDMI and DVI Extenders from Extron
