The Extron TLP 710CV is a fully configurable 7″ Cable Cubby TouchLink Touchpanel with a contemporary thin bezel design that combines AV system control with the convenience of an Extron Cable Cubby enclosure. It features a tilt-up, full-color, high-resolution touchscreen in an elegant, metal enclosure that can be mounted securely into a tabletop, lectern, or other flat surface. An integrated MTP twisted pair receiver accepts S-video or composite video and audio input signals over a single CAT 5-type cable. Power over Ethernet – PoE allows the touchpanel to receive power and control over an additional CAT 5-type cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply. The TLP 710CV touchpanel enables integrators to deploy furniture-mountable, fully configurable touchscreen control, with cable management and easy access to AV connectivity and power. more

Extron Announces Quantum™ Series Videowall Processors Are Now HDCP Compliant With New HDMI Input and Output Cards

Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce new Quantum HDMI Input and Output Cards that add HDMI connectivity and HDCP compliance to the Extron Quantum Elite and Quantum Connect Videowall Processing Systems. They enable presentation of Blu-ray Disc, digital satellite or cable, and other HDCP-encrypted sources on HDCP-compliant displays. The Quantum HDMI Input Cards accept two HDMI inputs at resolutions up to 1920×1200 and HDTV 1080p/60. The Quantum HDMI Output Cards include two HDMI outputs for driving two videowall displays at resolutions up to 1920×1200 and HDTV 1080p/60, and display up to 128 windows per output card. Extron Introduces the SME 100 H.264 Streaming Media Encoder

Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the SME 100, a live H.264 encoder for streaming audio, video, and computer-video signals. The SME 100 employs standards-based H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC encoding, and outputs an IP stream that can easily be decoded and viewed on desktop or laptop PCs. It is designed specifically to address the input requirements common to pro AV applications and supports RGB or DVI input signals up to 1920×1200 as well as standard definition and high definition video up to 1080p/60. The SME 100 also features an integrated three-input switcher with audio and buffered loop-through connections to simplify integration and offers a range of compression and bit rate controls. High performance Extron signal processing scales and optimizes video input signals for the intended viewing application. Encoding controls also provide adjustments for bit rate and quality. By extending AV signals over networks, the SME 100 significantly expands AV system capability. more
