Listen Technologies adds sales management and leadership capabilities to continue strong business growth in North America with the appointment of Peter Papageorge as Director of Sales.

Peter Papageorge will be responsible for driving all regional sales activities within the territory of Canada and the United States. Additionally he will lead and direct Listen’s Regional Sales Managers and Independent Representatives. In his new position, Papageorge will report directly to Cory Schaeffer, Listen Technologies Corporation Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Papageorge will work collaboratively with Schaeffer to expand Listen’s growth.

Brooks Gibbs, Conferencing Product Group Leader – Listen Technologies

Listen Technologies Corporation today announced the appointment of Brooks Gibbs as Conferencing Product Group Leader. In his new position, Gibbs will have overall profit and loss responsibility for the Conferencing product line. Gibbs will be responsible for the sales and marketing in North America as well as the management of the Conferencing product life cycle. Gibbs will report directly to Tim Schaeffer, Listen Technologies Corporation Vice President of Strategic Development. Gibbs will work closely with Schaeffer to develop and execute the sales, marketing and product management plans relative to the Conferencing product line.

Vellone Communication will be working Listen’s FM, Infrared, ListenPoint® and Conferencing product lines for assistive listening, soundfield, tour group, language interpretation and conferencing applications.

John Vellone brings over twenty years of specializing in system integration solutions. Vellone’s initiation to the AV industry came during his studies at Concordia University working for the AV department. Prior to becoming a manufacturer’s representative he worked for a Montreal AV rental firm then moved on to sales in the government and education markets with a leading system integrator.
