• David Wrigley, based out of Washington, DC, has been promoted to sales manager of the Mid-Atlantic region. Since 2001, Wrigley has worked for AVI-SPL serving in a number of capacities in business development and government services.

• Denise Kessler, formerly with SMART Technologies, has been promoted to National Sales Manager and will continue to drive the K-12 and higher education markets for AVI-SPL from headquarters in Tampa.

AVI-SPL today announced its Marketing Communications and Internet Marketing departments have joined forces under the leadership of industry veteran and AVI-SPL Vice President of Internet Marketing Kelly Bousman.

Bousman has been with AVI-SPL for nearly 14 years, starting the creative services area, then creating www.ProjectorPeople.com and developing the company’s Internet strategy. From brand development to marketing program management, Bousman has been an integral part of AVI-SPL’s growth.

Now as one collaborative team, the in-house marketing staff manages the company’s public relations, graphic design, tradeshows and copy writing, in addition to developing and managing www.avispl.com, www.ProjectorPeople.com, and customer extranet sites. Colin Smith recently joined AVI-SPL’s office in Sterling, Va., as a new Account Manager. He’ll focus on corporate, government, and higher education sales in addition to business development. Smith previously worked for Washington Professional Systems as a Digital Sales Manager and has more than 15 years of audio video sales experience.

AVI-SPL also welcomes new Federal Business Development Manager Steve White to the Washington, DC office. White will develop strategic business opportunities with government agencies in order to provide AV integration, command and control, videoconferencing and Telepresence solutions. Prior to this role, White was positioned as Hewitt Packard’s Federal Solution Manager, offering their broad product and services portfolio for data virtualization and automation.
