NILES, IL, May 14, 2008 – Colombian singer and Shure endorser Juanes won the Male Pop Album of the Year Award for “La Vida Es un Ratico“ at the 10th Annual Latin Billboards at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. While it was undoubtedly an honor for him to win this award, perhaps more significant was that Juanes also received the Spirit of Hope Award for his humanitarian work, which he does through his Mi Sangre Foundation – an organization he created in 2005 to aid victims of land mines in Colombia. more
