4K UHD HDMI Switcher with Audio Extraction is Newest Addition to Digital A/V Line of Products

MONTREAL, QUEBEC — MuxLab Inc. is pleased to introduce the newest member if its Digital AV line of products. The HDMI 4×1 Switcher with Audio Extraction allows four HDMI sources to be distributed to one HDMI display. The switcher supports up to 4K (3840 x 2160), 8-bit color and HD audio.

The Switcher was designed to meet the high demand of installs for various commercial and residential AV systems. The extracted audio is available on an S/PDIF Toslink, Coaxial and 3.5mm Stereo Jack. The push button selects between the HDMI inputs, and the unit also features IR Remote Control.

IBC, SEPTEMBER 12 – 16, 2014 AMSTERDAM — MuxLab Inc. is excited for its debut at the International Broadcasting Convention where it will be presenting the Broadcast market its wide range of 3G-SDI Extenders Over UTP & soon to be released 6G-SDI Over UTP Extender.

The 6G-SDI Extender is a unique new solution from Muxlab for extending SDI cameras or other SDI sources up to 4K resolution with the added benefit of extending the Hi Resolution signal up to 500 feet (150m). The Extender supports HD-SDI using two or four coax cables, 3G-SDI using single or two coax cables, 6G-SDI using a single coax cable. The product can be seen at the MuxLab booth at IBC.

MuxLab’s line of 3G-SDI Extenders include the popular LongReach 3G-SDI Extender Kit and the 3G-SDI to HDMI Extender Kit which converts 3G-SDI to HDMI and then transmits it up to 330 ft (100m) via Cat5e/6 cable.

MuxLab not only provides its SDI lines to the broadcast market but also brings a variety of other products ideal for use by integrators, installers, and broadcasting companies including HDMI Over IP Solutions, CATV Distribution Solutions, Digital A/V Matrix Switches, HDMI 4K Splitters, Pro A/V Extension Solutions, and more.

MuxLab’s HDMI over IP solution allows an HDMI source to be connected via any Ethernet LAN allowing A/V broadcasts to be set up and managed without the need to install a dedicated cabling system. This system has its own Management Software which is supplied free to MuxLab customers.

MuxLab 8×8 Audio Switch is Newest Addition to Existing Vast Line of Digital A/V Products

CEDIA, SEPTEMBER 11 – 13, 2014, DENVER, COLORADO — MuxLab Inc. is set to release its new 8 x 8 Cat5e/6 Line Level Audio Matrix Switch at CEDIA. The Switch supports audio switching between multiple audio sources and distribution via CAT5e/6 cable.

The Audio Matrix Switch uses RJ45 connectors and works in conjunction with MuxLab’s stereo audio baluns (500019, 500027, 500028 and 500030) and digital audio balun (500020). The product provides port buffering, unity gain compensation and ground loop isolation.

The Switch including its volume can be managed via push-button, IR, RS232, Ethernet, Web Server, or 3rd party software making it versatile and easy to control in any environment.

“The new Audio Switch is ideal for various residential and commercial applications” said Marc Bohbot, MuxLab’s Director of R&D. “With its multiple management options the Switch is easy to control and can be used in many types of installations.”

New extenders for the broadcast market support 3G HD-SDI & transmit it over Cat5e/6

NAB SHOW 2014, LAS VEGAS, NV – MuxLab Inc. is excited to release its LongReach HD-SDI Extenders. Live demos of the MuxLab extenders can be seen at the NAB Show in Las Vegas at booth # SU11914.

The new extenders transmit HD-SDI signal over Cat5e/6 cable up to 500ft, adding an additional 170 feet to the current versions of the extenders.

The LongReach HD-SDI Extender Kit (model 500702) features LED diagnostics for sync, signal detect and supports transmission of up to 2.97/3.0 Gbps uncompressed, un-encrypted digital video within television facilities and between professional video equipment.

The LongReach HD-SDI to HDMI Extender Kit (model 500716) converts HD-SDI to HDMI and then transmits it up to 500 feet via Cat5e/6 cable at all resolutions in a point-to-point configuration.

Daniel Assaraf, MuxLab’s President, states “these new extenders are the latest additions to our existing range of broadcast products and increase MuxLab’s line of structured cabling solutions for the broadcast market”.

MUXLAB RELEASES NEW HDMI SPLITTERS FOR COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL AV SYSTEMS

MARCH 18 2014, MONTREAL, CANADA – MuxLab Inc. announces the release of the HDMI 1×4 & 1×8 2K-4K Splitters that allow one HDMI source to be distributed to up to four or eight HDMI displays. The splitters support up to 1080p, 12-bit Deep color and HD audio.

INTERSEC DUBAI, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Booth # S1-135C – MuxLab Inc. is excited to announce at Intersec the launch of a new line of HD CCTV baluns. The HD CCTV Pass-Thru Balun (500720), HD CCTV Pass-Thru Balun with Cable Lead (500720-CL), and the Active HD CCTV Receiver Balun (500721) are all part of the new line which focuses on the SD, HD & 3G environments.

The baluns are ideal for permanent set-ups which require high quality connectivity parts such as campuses, highways, airports, hotels, casinos, and commercial complexes.

The Extender provides an easy to use solution for various applications such as digital signage, industrial and commercial AV systems, classroom projector systems, boardroom systems and medical information systems.

MuxLab Launches HDMI over Coax Extender Kit

MONTREAL, QUEBEC – MuxLab Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the newest addition to its HDMI line of products; the HDMI over Coax Extender Kit (500465, 500465-RX). This HDMI Extender allows an HDMI source to be connected to an HDMI receiver up to 250 ft (76 m) at 1080p resolution via one coax cable in a point-to-point configuration.

This new Extender provides a solution for various applications such as digital signage, industrial and commercial AV systems, classroom projector systems, boardroom systems and medical information systems.

“This Extender can be cascaded via the Receiver (500465-RX) in order to support multi-display applications” said Marc Bohbot, MuxLab’s Director of R&D. “This allows for a wide variety of applications and uses for this new member of our HDMI family”.

Some additional features of the 500465 include its ability to support up to 500 ft. (152m) at 1080i/720p resolution and its durable build which makes it ideal for harsh electrical environments.
The transmitter converts HDMI to SDI while the receiver converts SDI back to HDMI. The Extender is cascadable on both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) sides.
