New Triad Speakers InWall Bronze/4 SlimSub is Small in Size, Yet Big on Performance

Portland, OR – April 3, 2013 – Triad Speakers, Inc., a leading custom manufacturer of reference-quality loudspeakers for the home, today announced the availability of its new InWall Bronze/4 SlimSub.

Measuring 3-15/16 inches deep to fit into a standard 4-inch deep wall cutout, the flat grill, flush mount design of the SlimSub represents an aesthetical improvement over the model it replaces, the InWall Bronze/4 Sub, which protruded several inches from the wall.

The SlimSub delivers deep bass at high volumes, achieving a maximum output of 109 dB from 40-80 Hz with bass extension of -6dB at 25 Hz. This performance also represents an improvement over the previous model; in fact it rivals that of the company’s larger, 6-inch deep InWall Bronze/6 model.

According to Triad Speakers President Larry Pexton, the company achieved such rich performance by finely-tuning the sealed enclosure to match the excursion of the proprietary long-throw 10-inch aluminum driver employed. Triad engineers also integrated a round steel back-plate that serves to replace the thick MDF behind the driver, capturing more air volume to accommodate the lengthy throw of the driver.

The SlimSub fits into the same cut-out (size “V”) as the company’s other in-wall subs, making it ideal for retrofit opportunities. To further blend with the décor of most any home, the SlimSub incorporates all 3 types of Triad’s Acoustimesh™ grill (wide, narrow and frameless) which the company can custom paint-match at the factory.

The first thing visitors experience when they enter IC Realtime’s main corporate entrance is the fully-equipped showroom replete with individual workstations demonstrating the company’s many analog and IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, Apps and accessories – all live, in action. Also in place are workstations that show IC Realtime’s products fully-integrated into RTI, Control4, Crestron and Savant environments.

In the middle of the showroom stands a display center equipped with all the mobile devices that the company supports including Kindle, Windows8, Android and Apple (both mobile and home) platforms.

Another focal point of the showroom is a demonstration of IC Realtime’s I-Sniper technology which illustrates how special sensors in the cameras capture images in detail both night and day, even under challenging mixed-lighting conditions. The Absolute is the first on the market to offer a motorized lateral masking system that returns to a fully-closed position. The masking system can be programmed to stop at any aspect ratio from 1.33:1 to 2.37:1.
So as to not compromise sound, both the screen and the masking layers are acoustically transparent.

The Absolute is available with either S-SE’s ISF-certified .98 gain Enlightor 4K or 1.1 gain Enlightor 2 acoustically transparent screen surface. The 4K material is a woven fabric that makes possible placement of the screen over in-wall loudspeakers (as close as desired) without creating a frequency or phase acoustic effect. The 4K material is the only AT screen that has no visible features indicating that it is acoustically transparent, and therefore has no minimum seating distance. Both Enlightor materials are free of the historical limitations of moiré or needing EQ compensation.

SnapAV has upgraded its Wirepath™ DVRs to be directly controlled via IP using its newly-developed certified driver, located within the Control4 Composer programming software. SnapAV has also developed Control4 Certified drivers for its Binary™ HDMI Matrix Switchers. The certifications make integration into a Control4 system simpler and grants dealers access to comprehensive Control4 technical support when integrating the products. SnapAV is the first manufacturer to have a Control4 Certified driver for DVRs.
